Saturday night fever will hit downtown San Antonio this weekend with the official debut of Know Knew Friends Disco & Cocktail Club.

Know Knew Friends, which celebrates its grand opening this Saturday, is the latest project from local bartrepreneur Justin Vitek of Hills & Dales and On the Rocks fame. The nightspot, located at 270 Losoya St., began operating in a soft-opening capacity last month.

“We wanted to build something that feels nostalgic but fresh — Studio 54 vibes with 2025 flavor,” Vitek said via a press release.

Music selections at Know Knew Friends will range from classic disco hits to contemporary pop, house, funk and R&B, and, yes, disco balls do spin overhead.

Some drinks of the bar’s, such as the Disco AF with watermelon vodka and blue island pucker, will even be served in a disco ball-shaped glass. Other signature cocktails include the Te Quila Mucho, a south-of-the-border-style quencher; the Purple Drank, made with vodka, sprite, and a natural energy drink mixer; and dessert-inspired martinis, including lemon-cheesecake and creme brûlée options.

Also expect several classic drinks on tap, including a house espresso martini, a house Old Fashioned and a new take on a chispa.

For those who burn up calories on the dance floor, Know Knew Friends offers classic bar bites such as handcrafted pizzas, a variety of chicken wings and Wagyu hot dogs in designer-inspired boxes.

Guests are welcome to dress in their ’70s best, but it’s not mandatory, according to the owners.
