Michael Sohocki is really diving into noodles these days. The chef/owner of Restaurant Gwendolyn, Il Forno Pizza and Kimura, the ramen bar he opened in 2013, recently opened the Ramen Bar at Cherrity Bar last month. And the noodles keep noodlin’ at Ramen Bar at Freight Gallery.
The latest noodle outpost opened … softly… last week with a menu of appetizers, ramen and yakisoba (fried noodles), similar to that offered at Cherrity Bar. The new space seats guests in the front portion of the gallery building. Beer, wine and sake are available.
The ramen bar is open 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 5 t0 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
