In another new milestone for Whataburger during its 75th year, the Texas-based burger chain is launching its first-ever line of craft beverages.
Per a news release, Whataburger fans will have the opportunity to try the chain’s brand new craft lemonade or a prickly pear raspberry refresher — a blend of real raspberries, lemon citrus and a splash of prickly pear — on Tuesday, July 1.
The prickly pear raspberry refresher is only available for a limited time. Prices for the drink are set at $3.69 for 16 oz or $3.99 for a 20 oz refresher.
New Whatafresher flavors will be rolled out at a later date. The company also teased the debut of a digital spokesperson on Wednesday, July 2, which will likely be announced on Whataburger’s social media channels.
Whataburger’s latest menu drop is part of the company’s 75th anniversary celebrations. Founded in August 1950 by entrepreneur Harmon Dobson in Corpus Christi, the intent of the brand was simple — serve a burger so big and fresh, customers would have no choice but to exclaim, “What a burger!”
The company rolled out their first line of iced coffees in 2024, making them available to order round-the-clock. Guests can customize their coffee with sweet cream and vanilla or caramel, or simply opt for black coffee.
