Punk java joint Folklores Coffee House has expanded, opening a satellite location in Beacon Hill.

The second Folklores, 106 Michigan Ave., will host a grand opening Saturday, Jan. 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to details the owners shared via Instagram.

The new locale will include a collaboration with San Antonio cheese and charcuterie shop Cheesmé, which will provide savory bites to go along with the caffeinated goods.

The expansion doesn’t mean Folklores plans to leave its Government Hill flagship location, though. The old spot, located at 1943 N. New Braunfels Ave., is still operational.
