After issuing a public plea for support in November, San Antonio’s Revolutionary Wings is permanently shutting down.
“With a heavy heart we regret to inform everyone that we will be closing our doors next Saturday the 29th,” the wing bar’s chef and co-owner, Joshua Paprocki, said in a Friday Instagram post. He offered no comment on why the business is closing.
The Current reached out for further details but got no response by publication time.
Paprocki launched Revolutionary Wings as a food truck run his wife Felicia in 2023, and by November of that year, the couple expanded the concept into a North Side brick-and-mortar store at 427 E. Ramsey Road.
In Friday’s online post, Paprocki said the restaurant will offer both dine-in and to-go service for the remainder of its time open. However, it will only be able to accept cash, cash app, Zelle or Venmo payments, he added.
Revolutionary Wings focused on an extensive menu of flavors beyond the standard Buffalo-style variety. From Ancho chili-and-coffee smoked wings to boneless Hot Cheeto wings, the Paprockis aimed to provide a unique culinary experience for connoisseurs of the favorite bar snack.
June 1 would have been Revolutionary Wings’ second anniversary.
