Weather woes have caused the organizers behind the second-annual Fideo Loco Festival.

Originally slated for this Sunday, November 4, the new date for the anti-bullying festival and cook-off will be Saturday, December 15 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Maverick Plaza inside La Villita.

The festival pits home cooks and restaurateurs against each other to see who can make the tastiest fideo loco, a combination of fried vermicelli noodles in a tomato-broth topped with a dealer’s choice of ingredients including, but not limited to, picadillo, shredded chicken, carne guisada, etc.
