Northwest San Antonio’s hidden Italian gem isn’t taking reservations for Valentine’s Day, which means it will be open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. for guests, on a first-come, first-served basis. Mare e Monte’s selection of pasta and meat entrees fuse traditional Italian classics with an Albanian-Texas twist. Curry Boys BBQ
Situationships may be temporary, but Curry Boys are forever. The James Beard Award-nominated barbecue joint has a Valentine’s Day barbacoa special for two, complete with house-made Thai red curry, veggies and warm Jasmine rice. The Hayden
Steak-lovers can find happiness at The Hayden, regardless of whether they have a partner in tow. The semi-classic diner has a special three-course Valentine’s Day menu available from now until Saturday, Feb. 22. Amor Eterno
With love built into the Southtown bar’s DNA, Amor Eterno’s annual Valentine’s Day bash always delivers. This year, patrons can expect music by Slow Gems, a specialty cocktail menu curated by Amor Eterno’s own JC Salinas and couple’s chicken buckets available for purchase onsite from Sijang SA. Costa Pacifica Margarita Garden
Over at the Creamery District, the Costa Pacifica Margarita Garden has a special three-course, prix-fixe dinner menu available from Valentine’s Day through Sunday, Feb. 16. Set at $39.99 per person, the meal starts off with tuna carpaccio and features tamarind-grilled salmon for a main entree with churros con cajeta for dessert. Mezquite
Limited seats are still available for Mezquite’s specialty five-course Valentine’s Day menu at the Pullman Market. Priced at $55 per person, the night will also feature live music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a DJ at the Mezcalaria bar from 9 p.m. until midnight. La Panaderia
Specialty Valentine’s Day treats are available for $9 a piece at all La Panderia’s locations from Friday, Feb. 14, to Sunday, Feb. 16. Available for a limited time only, the goodies include a heart-shaped mousse with cherry jam, a tropical pavlova with a vanilla bean pastry cream and edible flowers, and a strawberry chocolate mousse tart with strawberry heart cookies. It’s a Burgers, Bachelors and Bachelorettes party at Pumpers on Broadway, where nobody cares if you’re single, taken or “it’s complicated.” The low-key affair allows anyone to order up a hearty burger, beef-fat fries and chill.
