Downtown’s Tre Trattoria, 401 S Alamo, will host an evening of Tuscan food and wine Saturday, October 19 at 6:30 p.m. The five-course menu includes a stracciatella with speck and charred leeks; pumpernickel bruschetta with pumpkin butter, roasted butternut and frisse; pan-roasted sweet potato gnocchi with duck sausage, arugula and brown butter sage; Pedro Ximenez sherry-braised beef cheek with roasted root vegetables and Swiss chard; and pomegranate semi freddo with cured grapefruit and bitter chocolate.
Wines featured for the evening include a Fazi Verdicchio Battaglia, Allegrini Valpol Classico and Caposaldo Prosecco.
