After postponing Tuesday’s show in San Antonio due to a medical issue, Carlos Santana called off the following night’s performance, this time due to testing positive for COVID-19, the Associated Press reports.

The legendary rock guitarist was scheduled to play Wednesday night at the Smart Financial Center in the Houston suburb of Sugar Land as another stop on his Oneness tour. However, his official Facebook page revealed the gig would be postponed out of an “abundance of caution.”

Wednesday’s change of plans follows the postponement of Tuesday’s scheduled performance at San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre after Santana collapsed on stage during soundcheck.

Initially, manager Michael Vrionis told the press that Santana had collapsed ahead of San Antonio’s show due to dehydration. Later, the musician tested positive for COVID-19.

The Facebook announcement states that “Carlos is doing well,” adding that the tour will continue as scheduled. Santana expects to be back on stage Friday in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

Ticket buyers for both postponed shows are advised to hang on to their tickets and will be notified of the rescheduled dates.
