For some reason, people love Chris Brown, the Grammy-winning R&B-singer, rapper and dancer who pleaded guilty in 2009 to felony assault of the singer Rihanna, and has faced a wave of troubling accusations since.

That love explains why Brown is embarking on a co-headlined stadium tour with fellow Grammy winner and R&B hitmaker Usher. The pair’s R&B tour will stop at the Alamodome on Monday, Oct. 5.

By now, you have already made up your mind whether you want to support Brown, an artist who was involved in a brawl that could have cost Spurs legend Tony Parker his eye; was sued for battery and false imprisonment by his own manager; and faced a separate suit from a woman who alleged he drugged and raped her on a yacht owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Brown was even the subject of the 2024 docuseries titled Chris Brown: A History of Violence, which detailed a litany of troubling accusations against him. For the record, the singer subsequently sued Warner Bros. Discovery, alleging the work was “full of lies and deception.”

But, hey, if that’s your jam, have at it.

Tickets will be available starting with presale for Citi cardmembers beginning this Tuesday followed by a special Thursday presale fans which anyone can sign up for online. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general sale, which gets underway at noon on Monday, April 27.

Prices unavailable, 6 p.m. Monday, Oct 5, Alamodome, 100 Montana St., (210) 207-3663, alamodome.com.
