
While Austin may bill itself as the Live Music Capital of the World, the summer concert schedule suggests the real action is happening 80 miles south along I-35.
San Antonio has a stacked calendar this season that ranges from arena-worthy acts such as AC/DC, Kanye West and Karol G to locally produced fests featuring San Antonio acts. And there are plenty of touring acts that fill the space between, from Grupo Frontera to Benson Boone.
Let’s run down some of the highlights from now through early September.
Friday, July 3
Release the Rhythm

Kanye West
Controversial rapper Kanye West’s stadium-scale Fourth of July show is likely to be a night of spectacle. No Pasa Nada Fest
In case you just didn’t get enough last time, Rah Rah Room’s No Pasa Nada Fest is back. Piñata Protest leads a stacked bill of local acts that also includes FEA, Los Juanos and Hijas de la Madre featuring Amalia Ortiz. Grupo Frontera

AC/DC

Lord Huron
