Camp Screamo is setting up stakes in San Antonio.
Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein and Missouri-based emo-punk outfit Story of the Year are bringing their co-headlined Camp Screamo tour to the Espee this Friday for a night of noisy aughts nostalgia. Origami Angel will open the general-admission show.
The performance comes as Silverstein wraps up a milestone run. The Ontario-based band celebrated its 25th anniversary last year with Antibloom/Pink Moon, a 16-track double LP conceived in Joshua Tree. The project earned a 2026 JUNO nomination for Metal/Hard Album of the Year and has since fueled a global tour that’s moved 110,000 tickets to date.
This week, Silverstein and Story of the Year also unveiled a sequel tour, Camp Screamo 2, which launches Nov. 16 and will extend the groups’ road dates. The extension brings along rising pop-punk force Stand Atlantic with Midwest screamo band Footballhead.
“We’ve been having such a blast with our friends in Story of the Year that we had to run it back for another round,” Silverstein frontman Shane Told said in a statement.
