Halloween is this Saturday, and you’re in luck if you still need a pumpkin to carve.
Centro San Antonio will host a pop-up Flash Patch from 6 to 8 p.m. downtown at Hemisfair. The free event features free pumpkins (free pumpkins!), photo booths and goodies for your little gourdling.
Check the event’s Facebook page for updates about the weather, since organizers could cancel if it rains. Centro San Antonio plans to host additional Flash Patches through October 30.
If you’re looking for other patches of pumpkin without having to leave the loop (or do all that other pumpkin patchy stuff, like sit on a hay bale or get dirt on your shoes) the Pearl Farmers Market will also host one from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Halloween, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 1. Snag a last-minute pumpkin for carving (or seed-roasting!) and get your face painted like a cat. Costumes encouraged.
