Brad Simpson, the husband of missing Olmos Park realtor Suzanne Clark Simpson, has been charged with murder, according to court documents filed Thursday in Bexar County.
Brad Simpson is now being held on $2 million bond. Although authorities still haven’t found his wife’s body, prosecutors believe they have enough evidence to charge him, KSAT reports, citing sources familiar with the case. His arrest warrant will be sealed for 30 days, according to MySA.
The new charges come a day after the couple’s 20-year-old daughter, Chandler, said in an Instagram post that she believes Brad Simpson was responsible for her mother’s death, according to the Express-News.
Suzanne Clark Simpson was first reported missing on Oct. 7, the day after the couple got into a heated argument in front of their $1.4 million Olmos Park mansion, according to an arrest affidavit.
Simpson was arrested two days later in Kendall County on charges of family violence and unlawful restrain. He’s remained in police custody since then.
Although Suzanne Clark Simpson’s body hasn’t yet been found, sources told KSAT that authorities believe her remains are in the Bandera area.
This is a developing story.
