A man arrested Monday in San Antonio on suspicion of driving while intoxicated is employed as a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, KSAT reports, citing an unnamed law enforcement source.

San Antonio police pulled over Ian Rashad Tucker, 31, just before midnight near Interstate 10 West and Colorado Street, according to KSAT. As officers questioned him, he showed signs of intoxication, the TV station reported, citing SAPD.

Bexar County jail records indicate Tucker was booked Tuesday and released on bond that evening, according to KSAT.

Although KSAT said a “law enforcement source” said Tucker was an ICE officer, a spokesperson for ICE said the federal agency would never confirm the identities of its officers.

“The men and women of ICE are entrusted with upholding the rule of law and are held to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct,” the spokesperson told KSAT via email. “Incidents of misconduct are treated with the utmost seriousness and investigated thoroughly. When substantiated, appropriate action is taken.”
