If we had a nickel for every time an ugly cake found at H-E-B became a viral sensation, we’d only have 10 cents — but it’s weird that it happened twice.

The botched baked goods weren’t the only bizarre stories the Current covered this year — from a giant shopping cart on a highway joyride to the indictments of former Fiesta royalty, this year wasn’t lacking in wacky news.
