Gone are the golden days of dining and dashing after enjoying a “succulent Chinese meal.”

Nowadays, restaurant patrons can almost guarantee they’ll be on camera.

But that didn’t stop two patrons from bolting Sunday night after a meal at San Antonio Asian fusion restaurant Hot Joy, according to allegations shared in a Monday afternoon Instagram post from the business’ owner.

“These two assholes pulled an old-fashioned dine & dash on us Sunday night at 9:30 p.m.,” said a post caption from Chad Carey, owner of Empty Stomach Group, which operates Hot Joy and a bevy of other SA restaurant properties. “Aside from ripping us off, they ripped off their hard-working server.”

Hot Joy, 1101 Broadway, Suite 140, offered a $200 gift certificate to anyone who can identify the allegedly exiting epicures.

“Thieves suck, let’s fight ’em,” Carey added in the caption.
