Budget carrier Spirit Airlines on Monday revealed plans to add three more year-round, nonstop routes from San Antonio International Airport.

The new routes will launch in May and ferry travelers from the Alamo City to Nashville, Baltimore and Detroit.

The Nashville flights will start May 8, departing at 8:24 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays.

Meanwhile, the fights to Detroit and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport will begin May 9 with both scheduled for Mondays and Fridays. Detroit departures will take place at 6:08 p.m., while the Baltimore flights are scheduled for 2:52 p.m.

Word of Spirit’s new Alamo City routes follows mere days after the airline launched its first nonstop flight from San Antonio International Airport to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The carrier is also set to launch another new nonstop route from SA to Atlanta.

Spirit operates seven other nonstop routes from San Antonio International, including flights to Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando and Tampa. It also offers seasonal service to Miami and New Orleans.
