From crawfish boils to poolside cocktails, San Antonio bars, restaurants and destinations are offering a variety of ways to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend. Let’s run down the options:

Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa

Plaza San Antonio Hotel & Spa will hold a Memorial Day weekend pool party on Saturday, May 24, from 1-4 p.m. Enjoy handcrafted paletas from a paleta cart onsite, grab refreshing tiki cocktails from Anaqua Garden Bar and enjoy live DJ sets all afternoon long. Otto’s Ice House

Recent Pearl addition Otto’s Ice House will celebrate Memorial Day weekend with its inaugural crawfish boil on Saturday, May 24. A fully loaded plate of crawfish, corn on the cob and potatoes runs $23. The full Otto’s Ice House menu will also be available, and crawfish will be there for the scarfing from 1 p.m. until sellout. The Rim

North Side shopping and dining destination The Rim will screen Top Gun in its plaza at the Rim at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 24. Bar Gimme Gimme

Bar Gimme Gimme will allow revelers to party for a good cause by holding a cancer benefit for beloved local bar-trepreneur Aaron Peña. With a suggested donation of $20, guests can enjoy a fully loaded plate of chicken and beef fajita tacos, sausage, rice, beans and more from the Fajita Lounge. Running 5-9 p.m. Sunday, May 25, the party will also feature Tejano and conjunto tunes from DJ Texas Papi, specialty cocktails from Live Oak Vodka, Twang micheladas and more. The bar will stay open until midnight. Proceeds from sales go towards Peña’s medical bills as he undergoes chemotherapy following a cancer diagnosis. 803 S. Thompson San Antonio Riverwalk

Pop-ups abound at the Thompson San Antonio Riverwalk’s Cenote pool deck all Memorial Day weekend long. Enjoy skyline views, specialty drinks from Brugal Rum on Sunday, DJ sets, and bites and beverages from the poolside lounge and more. Krewe, a specialty glasses company, will stop by on Saturday — perfect for anyone needing a new set of shades to keep the summer sun at bay. Market Square

La Cantera Resort

A Memorial Day brunch at La Cantera Resort restaurant Topaz offers a chance to end the long weekend on a high note. The adults-only pool at the La Cantera Resort also has a poolside brunch planned from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, May 26. SeaWorld San Antonio

InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk

Sun is in at the Hi Temple Summer Kickoff Pool Party from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, May 24. DJ Tone will spin while guests enjoy summer cocktail specials from the property’s rooftop bar, High Praise. Chef Andreas Farias, who helms Cavalier, the restaurant located on the lobby level of the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk, also will offer curated bites. The Tobin Center

The Tobin Center is allowing folks to reveal their inner Sherlock with Clue: A Walking Mystery. The immersive whodunnit takes guests on a downtown journey to solve a compelling murder mystery. Guests must park on the first level of the Tobin Center parking garage to receive their first clues.
