A Comal County resident photographed an alligator in the Guadalupe River this weekend.
Texas: It's just like Florida. We've both got extreme far-right wing political craziness, weird crimes, oh, and alligators.
Comal County resident Carey Mueller captured an image of a small, 4-foot-long alligator in the Guadalupe River, which may give pause to tubers and other people who like to cool off this summer in the water.
Game wardens told KENS5
there is really no cause for alarm. Alligators are indigenous to the area and are sometimes spotted here in the San Antonio River.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department says alligators are unlikely to approach people. There is little risk of attack, so long as you don't provoke the creature. Still, if you bring small children or pets to the water, be mindful of your surroundings.
So enjoy the summer and have fun, but whatever you do,
don't be this guy.
