San Antonio culinary figure Jason Dady is a lot of things: chef, restaurateur, James Beard Award semifinalist, cooking-show competitor and mentor.

Who knew he moonlighted as a kitchen designer? For the right price, we’re guessing.

A mansion in the Dominion recently hit the market for just under $2.3 million, and among its many perks is a kitchen designed by Dady, the mind behind beloved concepts such as Tre Trattoria, Two Bros. BBQ Market, Range, Roca & Martillo, Mexico Ceaty and more.

Little surprise, then, that the kitchen is what the 4,500-square-foot home’s listing refers to as a “chef’s dream.” Along with an eight-burner gas cooktop, a double oven, a wine fridge, a warming drawer and a massive walk-in pantry, the space includes a 14-foot island with seating for six. (More, we’re guessing if folks don’t mind eating elbow-to-elbow.)

But the high-end features don’t end there. The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath dwelling also includes a swimming pool, a massive outdoor sitting area and grounds that span an acre.

The master suite’s his-and-her walk-in closets even boast custom shelving, a private makeup vanity and additional space for a workout area.

Of course, dropping $2.3 million on a Dady-designed kitchen still may not guarantee a reservation on a busy Saturday night.
