Award-winning San Antonio-area waterpark Schlitterbahn plans to hire more than 2,000 seasonal workers this month to prepare for its busy summer season.

The hiring blitz will run Feb. 15-18, according to Schlitterbahn officials. The “worlds best waterpark” is looking for staff ranging from lifeguards to food servers to security. A full range of available positions and information how to apply can be found on the attraction’s website.

The New Braunfels water park will open April 18 this year.

“With new enhancements to the guest experience, the recent debut of Schatze’s Storybrook Park and updates to the iconic Hillside Tube Chute, there’s no better time to join the Schlitterbahn team,” General Manager Darren Hill said in a statement.

Schlitterbahn employee benefits include free tickets to the park, discounts on food and merchandise, and free admission to other attractions owned by Six Flags Entertainment Corp., which acquired the park in 2024 as part of its merger with Cedar Fair.
