Despite being played in San Antonio, Game 5 of the NBA Finals may feel like a home game for Knicks fans.

A new report shows that more than one-third of resale tickets for the potentially championship-deciding contest were purchased in the Empire State.

According to data from secondary ticket resale marketplace TickPick, 37% of tickets purchased on the site for Saturday’s Game 5 at the Frost Bank Center were obtained using credit and debit cards with New York billing addresses. Another 8% came from New Jersey billing addresses.

Meanwhile, only 12% of resale tickets were purchased using billing addresses in Texas.

The new data dive comes after Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) said last week it would revoke season tickets from holders who resold their seats on “unauthorized secondary market sites.”

At the time, SS&E spokeswoman Lucy Kaneb said the move was to prevent fans from getting scammed.

“We’re focused on getting authentic tickets into the hands of our fans and strongly encourage fans to only buy from verified marketplaces,” Kaneb said. “Our resale guidelines have been communicated to our members throughout the season and in conjunction with Playoffs and Finals going on sale.”

However, some fans speculate online that the real reason SS&E is going after people for reselling their tickets is that, under NBA rules, the franchise only gets a cut of resale ticket sales if they’re conducted via Ticketmaster.

As of press time, the current “get in” price on Ticketmaster for Game 5 is $1,377.40.
