The Mexican-style hotdog spot opened in Southtown less than a year ago.

Both shops are located on South Presa Street, and both know how to load up a dog.

Barrio Dogg, which originated as a food cart made from a converted 1964 Chevy Impala, is known for specialty hot dogs mounded with spicy toppings.
