Get your stretchy pants ready.

Georgia-based Zaxby’s — a chain known for fried chicken, chicken wings and cheese curds — has opened its second Alamo City location, this one at 7304 Interstate 35 North in the Selma area, according to company officials. The new store will offer interior seating for up to 70 diners and will employ 100 people.

Zaxby’s opened its first San Antonio restaurant in June 2022 in the Alamo Ranch area. Before that, fans had to trek to the nearby suburbs of Cibolo or New Braunfels for a fix.

The new San Antonio Zaxby’s is open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
