The much-anticipated H-E-B supermarket being constructed near the University of Texas at San Antonio’s main campus will open at 6 a.m. Aug. 6, company officials said Thursday.

In addition to a grocery and pharmacy, the 111,000-square-foot College Park location, 7330 N. Loop 1604 West, will feature a True Texas BBQ restaurant, the company’s lauded in-store dining concept.

Although the new store won’t open to foot traffic for another two weeks, customers can start scheduling their curbside and home-delivery orders Monday, Aug. 4, according to officials with the San Antonio-based grocery chain.

The H-E-B College Park location will be open 6 a.m.-11 p.m. seven days a week.
