Former Smiths frontman Morrissey has postponed his sold-out Thursday show at San Antonio’s Boeing Center at Tech Port and rescheduled for Jan. 10, 2026, officials with the venue confirm.
The announcement comes as little surprise given Morrissey’s track record of cancelling shows every tour, and this one is no exception. The crooner postponed the past three dates on his current road jaunt due to a sinusitis infection.
After calling off two dates last week in California, team Morrissey over the weekend announced the tour would resume Monday in Tucson. However, they ultimately postponed that date as well.
This also marks the fourth time in a row that Morrissey has stood up San Antonio, a city that loves him more than most — seemingly whether or not he loves it back. Moz also snubbed San Antonio three times in the span of six months in 2017, the last time he was scheduled to play the Alamo City.
Those who dropped coin for Thursday’s postponed Boeing Center performance should hang onto their tickets, which will be honored on the Jan. 10 date, according to the venue.
Hate to say we told you so but … well. We did.
