Bill Miller Bar-B-Q is temporarily closing dining rooms due to a staffing shortage.

In what feels like a bout of déjà vu, San Antonio-based barbecue purveyor Bill Miller Bar-B-Q has temporarily closed all dining rooms in the Alamo City, Austin and surrounding areas — this time due to a staffing shortage.

The chain took to social media Monday to alert sweet tea fanatics to the closures, saying the temporary effort will allow the chain to provide “the same Bill Miller service you know and love.”

Curbside, drive-thru and delivery services are still available, and the chain says it plans to reopen dining rooms on Monday, Jan 10.

The barbecue chain previously closed dining rooms back in June of 2020, citing a statewide spike in COVID-19 cases.
