Pop and R&B star Lisa Lisa, known for fronting the ’80s group Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, is coming to San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center this summer as part of her 40th anniversary tour.

The show will take place Saturday, Aug. 9. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday via the Frost Bank Center’s website and Ticketmaster. However, exclusive pre-sale access is available by signing up for Frost Bank Center’s All Access Newsletter and selecting the “Latin” genre.

Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam were a 1980s hit machine known for tracks including “I Wonder If I Take You Home,” “Can You Feel the Beat” and “Lost in Emotion” — all of which the singer will perform live at her San Antonio show, according to concert promoter Pacific Concert Group.

After Cult Jam split up, Lisa Lisa launched her first solo album, LL77, featuring hits including “When I Fell in Love” and “Skip to My Lu,” which hit No. 38 on the R&B chart.
