Some might say pumpkin spice lattes are the sign of fall here in San Antonio where we don't get the beautiful fall foliage, but we disagree. It's all the corn mazes and pumpkin patches! We gathered the must-see sights to get you in the spirit of autumn in and around San Antonio.

Spend a few hours picking out a pumpkin to take home, a time or two on a hayride and making crafts with the family. Open every day 10 a.m. to noon until Halloween.

Feast your eyes on more than 15,000 pumpkins. Kids will love the hayrides and Pumpkin Patch Express train rides. The pumpkin patch is open now through November 1. Be sure to come out make the trip out for the churchs Fall Festival on October 28.

Plan a day trip out east to visit this Moulton-based maze. Venture through the eight-acre maze, then take it easy with a hayride and fun games for the kids. Open Fridays through Sundays, October 6 through November 19.

While this patch is on the smaller side, the clear blue skies more than make up for it. You can pick a pumpkin to call your own and even cut it off the vine yourself. Fresh treats like pumpkin bread and pie will be sold. Open weekends October 14-22.
