Spyro
"Hi, I’m Spyro! Apparently I’m named after the purple dragon character from a video game but these spots on my fur make me look more like a cow! Don’t worry, I won’t stand around grazing on grass all day because I’m a playful boy! I get so happy when I go out for walks and enjoy playing with calm dogs. I’m always excited to go on adventures outdoors! Please visit me so that we can go on an adventure together!"
Panchito
"I’m a happy young dog that loves to run and explore. I like to play in water so so much. Playing in a mini pool is always fun and exciting! I hope to one day have a forever family that will take me to places with lots of water, like a like or even better a beautiful beach! Will you like to take me there one day! Let’s go!"
Skittles
"I’m an active and playful kitty who can entertain you for hours with my wild antics. I do know how to calm and down and I love a good snuggle. “Taste the Rainbow” and come adopt me today!"
Liam
"Hi, I’m Liam! I’m a pretty laid-back and friendly type of guy. I love to look out the window and relax. I also enjoy exploring. I enjoy hanging out with my buddy, Thunder who I share my space with here. We met here at ADL and have become good friends! I don’t mind being held and can be chatty. I’m ready to find a person who I can hang with and who will adore me as much as I adore them!"
Bruce
"I don’t think you will ever meet a guy more handsome than I am. I am a really fun guy who is always active and ready for an adventure. I just love meeting new people and can sometimes be a bit too enthusiastic about it. I do walk on a leash pretty nicely most of the time and am more than ready to learn some manners about how to greet people. I’ve got my bright blue eyes on you as a prospect for my new home and family."
Harris
"I have been described as a smart older guy who loves to just relax and enjoy my space. But that is only one side of me! Just show me a treat and I will try to sit as I am supposed to, but I just can hardly contain myself and wait for the person to actually give it to me. It looked delicious! Not fair to make me wait! I also love to be petted and get attention, what dog doesn’t? Don’t I sound irresistible?"
Albus
"Hello, I am Albus! I enjoy hanging out in high spots in the cattery so that I can check out everything below me. I like to be lazy and enjoy head rubs. Overall, I’m a nice guy and aren’t I handsome? Let’s meet so that we can see if I’m the perfect friend for you!"
April
"Hello, my name is April. I am not the most social cat in the cattery, I rather enjoy being independent but I would like to spend my time with someone that would show me love and affection. I would love to find my forever home and have a forever family! Maybe that can be you? Let’s get to know each other!"
Josie
"Well how do you do, I am Josie, and let me start off by saying that if you got a treat I’ll take a sit just for the said treat. Now, I got to say, I do love attention and running around outside to explore! When we meet, if you take me out to the doggie park and start handing me treats well let’s say you and I will be a match!”
Lyric
"I’m Lyric, that’s right the one and only Lyric. I am such a spontaneous gal that enjoys an open area where I can run and jump. You see that smile, that is the smile I will have once I get to meet you because I love to be with humans and become best pals!”

Cho
"Hi, I’m Cho! Look into my eyes, don’t you think they are beautiful? I hope they convince you to come meet me! I am a quiet kitty who tends to keep to myself in the cattery. I’m not a social butterfly but wish I could be! I’m just shy and will need some time to get to know new people. I hope someone will be willing to give me that chance to get to know them. Will you give me that chance?"
Baby
"What’s an old dame like me doing in a place like this? Yes, I look like I’ve been around the block a few times but maybe I can find someone to love who is also of a certain age. They treat me well here so I am enjoying myself while I wait for just the right person or family to come along. Have the staff get me out and we’ll go for another trip around the block."
Joel
"Hi, I’m Joel! Some of us dogs just can’t get into hanging out in our kennels because we find kennels boring! I’d much rather be outside where all the action is! Give me a chance to meet you outside and you’ll see what a happy boy I am! I walk well on a leash and will smile for you. Sometimes I’m on alert for squirrels and will scope out my surroundings. I can be charming and I love attention, especially when attention involves me receiving treats! I love treats and I learn very quickly. Once I get to know you, I might turn into a lap dog. I have to admit that I may get excitable during playtime, so it would be best that I go to a home with older children. I also get along great with dogs but I’d rather hang out with the calm ones. I’m ready to find my home soon! Please give me a chance to go on a stroll in the dog park with you!"
Stella
"I’m a very mellow girl. I know that I can look a bit standoffish but don’t let my Garfield eyes fool you! I don’t mind being petted or held. Actually, I love to be held! I’m the perfect cat to just hang out in your home!"
Pixie
“I am living proof that you can indeed teach an old – or let’s say middle-aged – dog new tricks. I’m 7, and I’m learning to be quiet. I used to be noisy, but now every time I’m told to be quiet and I am, I get a treat! What could be better than that? Well, getting a forever home would be, for sure. I’m a nice, friendly girl and would make a wonderful companion, as long as I’m an only dog.”
Dorothy
"Hi, I’m Dorothy! I’m friendly with people but can be a little shy. Especially when a camera is pointed at me because I’m definitely camera shy! I eventually get used to my people and here’s one tip— I love food! Just bring out some treats and I’ll become joyful! I do enjoy walks, playing with calm dogs, and rolling around on my back in the grass. I hope to find my person soon because just like Dorothy from Wizard of Oz would say, there’s no place like home. I really hope that my home can be with you!"
Quiche
"I can be a savory Quiche but I will need to “bake” for a long time in a new home. I’m very bashful and prefer to hide away instead of socializing. So go slow with me and when I say slow I mean that literally. Sudden movements startled me. I just need someone with lots of love and patience to take me home. Is that person you?"
Bonnie
"I’m trying my best to not be so shy around people but can you blame me? I was found roaming a neighborhood with nowhere to go and was brought here to look for a home. I’m looking forward to the day I find that special person for me, so that I can have a nice home where I can relax with them. I’m sure within time, I’ll learn to break out of my shell and show my true self. Will you give me a chance to get to know you and be your best friend?"
Dave
"Dave is the name and sit for the treat is the game. The rules are simple, you show me a treat and if I sit down then you hand me over a treat! I love the game, there’s nothing better! Hopefully, you and I can play this game and we become best pals! Better yet we become a forever family and I can have a forever home. That will be the best!"
Tigress
"Ever feel like someone is watching you? It might be me who’s watching you if we’re in the same room! Okay, so I’m just always on guard because I’m a shy cat. I tend to stay far away from new people I don’t know. If you try to take my photo with a camera I’ll give you this strange look of worry and curiosity. If you give me some time I will warm up to you. I know that once I settle in my home, I will feel more comfortable and warm up to my person. If you’re willing to give me a chance to be your friend, then please visit me!"
