Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood is as ubiquitous, as hot, as prolific as any country artist working today. Since winning the fourth season of American Idol back in 2005, Underwood has recorded and toured relentlessly, cementing her status as one of the titans of contemporary country. The Grand Ole Opry inductee and seven-time Grammy winner has put out six LPs and a greatest hits compilation thus far in her sure-to-be long-lasting career and her fire-meets-honey voice continues to delight her legions of fans. Underwood’s most recent effort, 2018’s Cry Pretty — the tour for which brings her to the AT&T Center — continues her critical and commercial dominance of country music, having landed atop the Billboard 200 based on first-week sales. It’s also worth noting that Underwood, not one to rest on her laurels, continues to take more and more control of her music. This newest album, her first on new label Capitol Records Nashville, also marks the gifted singer-songwriter’s foray into the control booth as a co-producer.
