In 2014, Mariachi Los Camperos lost their leader and founder Natividad “Nati” Cano. Born in 1933, the Jalisco native dedicated his life’s work to the recognition of mariachi outside the cantina as a legitimate artform. And with Mariachi Los Camperos playing on in his memory, that mission certainly rings true. With members from the U.S. and Mexico, Los Camperos will pull from the Christmas songbook.
