Sure, Strauss is easy on the eyes, but it’s her skills on the axe that earned her the gig as Alice Cooper’s guitarist in 2014. She made her calling in all-female Iron Maiden tribute act the Iron Maidens and the modern-day version of ’80s glam band Femme Fatale. Strauss is touring in support of her first solo album, Controlled Chaos, which she self-produced and contributed all the bass and electric guitar work.
