Old Villita and La Villita Continues
A descendant of Sam A. Maverick and Maury Maverick, writer, artist and educator Lynn Maverick Denzer visits the Twig in support of the Tricentennial re-release of the 1939 book Old Villita (edited by her grandfather Maury Maverick Sr.) and the publication of La Villita Continues, her illustrated story following the “Little Village” from its restoration to its present incarnation.
