A retired AT&T exec is selling his $3.8 million Olmos Park estate with an Olympic-sized pool

Retired AT&T executive Willam E. Dreyer and his wife Linda have listed their Olmos Park home for nearly $3.8 million.

Tucked at the end of a secluded street, the 5,800-square-foot property is surrounded by heritage oaks and features an Olympic-sized pool in its backyard, notes its property listing.

The 1941 construction also features hardwood floors, "beautiful moldings and high ceilings," according to the writeup, and its kitchen appears to have undergone a renovation that bestowed it with chef-level range and an island-slash-breakfast bar.

William Dreyer ended up in San Antonio in the early '90s following Southwestern Bell's relocation here from Missouri. He retired in 1998 as senior executive vice president, a position that reported to the chairman. After his departure, the telecom firm underwent a series of acquisitions that reconstituted it as AT&T.
