Late ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill's Texas mansion on sale for $4.5 million

The uber-stylish 5,800-square-foot glass house of the late ZZ Top bass player Joe Michael "Dusty" Hill has hit hit the market for $4.5 million, as first reported by the website Mansion Global.

The legendary Texas musician and his wife Charleen Lee Hill owned the industrial-modern home, which is located on 78 acres in College Station. It's adjacent the Brazos River and "elegantly ensconced by a fully stocked lake," according to its sales listing.

The three-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath mansion features movable divider walls that allow the owner to reconfigure its layout to suit their needs. Its glass construction also offers "captivating views from every room," the listing states.

A pool outfitted with patio and lounge areas offers an outside escape, and there's an outdoor kitchen featuring two grills and seating for up to 10 diners. An exterior building that can hold up to four cars is also located on the property.

The Hills' home was first listed for sale in 2021 at $7 million, according to Mansion Global.
