What we saw as Coheed and Cambria brought its cosmic energy to San Antonio's Aztec Theatre

High-concept metal band Coheed and Cambria delivered a spirited performance at the Aztec Theatre on Monday as part of its Neverender: No World For A Waking Mind Tour.

The group played its 2007 album No World For Tomorrow in full, along with selections from its latest release, Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind, treating loyal fans to both the old and the new.

Deafheaven, a band that's drawn critical praise for blending black metal and shoegaze, opened the show.
