Green '19: Fall Festival

Join Source of Light Center for a different perspective on Autumn during Native American Heritage Month. Learn more about Native American wisdom and traditions at this family-friendly event. Decorate pumpkins and meet the Three Sisters, a sustainable planting strategy that centers on “corn, beans, and squash” (Sustainable Food Center). Sample wares from local farms, make sustainable arts and crafts, enjoy story-telling, cooking demonstrations and more. Tell your favorite family fable at their story-telling booth. This event also coincides with National Farm-City Week - a time to recognize the impact local farmers have on the health and well-being of the community. You can either pay the entry fee or donate four cans of food to gain access to the event.
