Although a key player in the Japanese rock scene for two decades, first as the guitarist in a visual kei band — Japan’s answer to hair metal — then as a solo musician, Miyavi is probably known to most Americans as an actor. He’s appeared in the blockbuster Kong: Skull Island and as the lead in Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken. Luckily, he hasn’t given up the rock, though, and is bringing his golden fingers and silver tongue to San Antonio.
