Swan Lake

“Swan Lake,” Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s timeless masterpiece, comes to San Antonio in one of only seven stops on the Saint Petersburg State “Russian Ballet” limited U.S. tour. Created in 1990 by a family of professional ballet dancers, the “Russian Ballet” dynasty is over 100 years old and adheres to the aspects of Russian ballet as a whole: true expressivity, dramatic presentation and impeccable technical presentation. Members are graduates of the famed Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. Delighting audiences with world-class dancers and costumes, the “Russian Ballet” makes international touring a part of its contribution to furthering Russian dance and culture.
