Trampled by Turtles

Based on how fast the band’s banjo player and fiddler get down on their instruments, Trampled by Turtles are basically the thrash gods of bluegrass — whether you want to admit it or not. Check out the track “Wait So Long” from the 2011 record Palomino if you need an example. The song opens with some soft banjo shreddery in the background before exploding into what easily could be a Slayer jam if Trampled by Turtles was playing in a minor key and using distortion on their instruments.
