The contest is free to compete as long as you bring your own pumpkin, and attendees are encouraged to bring in three canned goods to donate to the San Antonio Food Bank (any of the top 12 items most needed: peanut butter, cereal, tuna, beans, rice, mac and cheese, chili, canned stews, canned soups, canned luncheon meats, full meals (can/box) and pop top food items).
Carving tools will be provided. Contestants will be allotted two hours time to complete their creations.
Prizes will be $35 for third place, $75 for second and $100 for first place.
