Burger Boy Is Now Open on Sunday

Burger Boy, which changed ownership earlier this year, is now open on Sunday.

Announced via Facebook this past Sunday morning, the new hours mean diners can now enjoy a Bate's Special with cheese, and their expanded varieties of milkshakes seven days a week. Burger Boy's hours will now run 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.

The changes are part of the team made up of Guy Ellison, Rick Molina, Bryce Pohlmeier and Tony Molina, all who share fast-food experience. The long-time fans of Burger Boy purchased the company from former owner Carl Bates, who still acts as advisor. The new owners are hoping to open a second location of Burger Boy by the end of the year.

The new location, at Potranco and 151 will start construction in late July and will be three times as big as the current location off St. Mary's St., according to Pohlmeier.

2323 N. St. Mary's St., (210) 735-1955.
