Bone Club 25th Anniversary Reunion

Critic's Pick Release Date: 2011-04-14

The underground club that shaped the lives of many an SA punk gets resuscitated this Saturday at Nightrocker Live. The Bone Club, which opened in June of 1985 and was located at 828 San Pedro, hosted such local and touring acts as Fearless Iranians from Hell, Rhythm Pigs, Lung Overcoat, X-Men, Marching Plague, Raging Woodies, and Minutemen. Bone Club alums Heather Leather are set to play the reunion show along with Motörhead tribute band Martÿrhead and Steve Alejandro, who’ll “reprise his reggae DJ sets of yore.” Proceeds (as well as any blankets, towels, newspapers, collars, leashes, and pet toys guests can spare) will be donated to No Kill SA, which directly benefits the San Antonio Area Foundation’s Animal No Kill Fund. $5 ($10 for minors), 8pm, Nightrocker Live, 605 San Pedro, nightrockerlive.net.
