The Spurs will rock these slick uniforms on Christmas.
There's no substitute for the Spurs' classic silver and black unis (or the throwback
Fiesta gear we pine for), but these are a pretty solid alternate.
The NBA, adidas and Stance unveiled Spurs' Christmas uniforms today, a part of the "Season's Greetings Collection" (for whatever that's worth). A full slideshow is available
here. You'll be able to buy them at the
online NBA Store starting this weekend.
Beyond the twirly holiday script, there are a few other little details worth noting. The tiny NBA logo in the back is set on a red stamp, and the goofy snowflake socks are a nice touch (although there's not much risk we'll see an actual snowflake on Christmas here in SA).
The Spurs will play the Houston Rockets at 7 p.m. on Christmas. The other matchups on the tasty holiday slate include New Orleans at Miami, Chicago at Oklahoma City, Cleveland at Golden State and the Los Angeles Clippers at the Los Angeles Lakers.
