San Antonio news anchors keep residents well-informed about what's going on in the Alamo City. They also keep on getting poked fun at by John Oliver.

On Sunday's episode, HBO's Last Week Tonight with John Oliver rounded up news segments on Cinco de Mayo and included a jab at KSAT anchors Ursula Pari, David Sears and Larry Ramirez. And because Cinco de Mayo includes the stereotypical maracas, sombreros and margaritas, most of the segments included just that with a dash of Spanish.

Pari was among the anchors that said "olé" during the segment, saying "olé for mole!" Which strangely got "oohs" from her fellow anchors.

And because Oliver is woke, the bit includes a reporter explaining that Cinco de Mayo is commemoration of Mexico's victory over France in the Battle of Puebla, not its independence as so many believe.

Here comes the kicker. A Mexican woman appears on screen and asks if Cinco de Mayo is a big deal in Mexico. "No," she responds.
