San Antonio police are investigating a bar fight that led to a man being run over and a woman being shot by security guards.

Before 2 a.m. Sunday, police say a man and woman were fighting outside Perfect Score Sports Cantina, across the highway from Ingram Park Mall. The woman allegedly got into her truck during the argument and drove into the man, who police identified as 26-year-old Joel Berlanga.

The bar's security guards witnessed the woman dragging Berlanga with her truck and fired, striking her once in the arm and once in the neck. The woman allegedly lost control after being shot and crashed into a parked 18-wheeler, puncturing its gas tank.

The man was able to get out from under the truck and attempted to run away before collapsing near the Loop 410 frontage road.

Both the man and woman were transported to University Hospital. Berlanga is now in stable condition, though there hasn't been any update on the woman's condition.

Police say the two security guards were taken in for questioning. As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests have been made nor charges filed. Police are still investigating the incident.
