Adopt a pawsitively lovable dog this Valentine's Day.

Looking for a furry face to kiss this Valentine’s Day? No, I’m not talking about beards!

You can find yourself a pretty pooch to kiss at San Antonio Pets Alive's “My Furry Valentine” puppy kissing booth. Yes, a puppy kissing booth. Be still, my heart.

But why stop at kissing lonely pups when you could go all the way and provide one lucky canine with the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift: a forever home?

All four SAPA locations are celebrating puppy love this weekend, February 14 and 15, by offering a reduced adoption fee on dogs 25 lbs and heavier. Okay, technically these adoptable furbabies aren’t puppies anymore, but big dogs need love too. You can take one of them home this weekend for $25. Hey, maybe you will even meet a fellow dog lover at the event and the two of you will fall madly in love and live happily ever after with all of your mutts.

Or maybe not. At the very least, you'll get a couple of smooches in so Valentine's Day won't be a complete bust.

There will be several vendors at the Paul Jolly Center during "My Furry Valentine." Vendors will be selling tasty treats for both humans and doggies, among other things. A percentage of all proceeds will go toward treating SAPA's heartworm positive pooches.
