Texas Christian University quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested last night after allegedly getting into a fight — with a cop — at a Downtown San Antonio bar.

KENS reports that the 22-year-old Heisman Trophy candidate was taken into custody around 2 a.m. after employees at Pat O'Briens reported he was causing trouble. He was arrested after being involved in a fight with an officer, according to KENS.

The San Antonio Police Department charged Boyken with felony assault on a public servant, the television station reports.

TCU acted swiftly.

TCU takes on Oregon in the Alamo Bowl on Saturday.
